Yin, The Blind Bender

The Name of your character: Yin

Age: 14

What does your character look like: She is a slim person of average height, with pale violet eyes and white hair. Her skin is pale but with a slight tan from the weak summer' sun. Her hair covers her forehead, and is held up by a single violet ribbon tied at the back. She wears the typical water tribe fur coat, with a short purple and black dress inside. Heavy seal-skin boots with thick stocking and mittens complete he attire. She prefers not to wear a hood.

Personality: A shyish introvert that only opens up to her close friends.

Likes/dislikes: She enjoys chocolates, a rare sweet imported from the Earth Kingdom, the many penguins that are found near the village and her friends. She dislikes large crowds of people, loud noises and fighting.

History: She was found as a baby on a half-broken sled near the village by three hunters. It was wedged between some rocks, but there was no sign of any other people. It had been concluded that the ice broke away when she was travelling with her family from another village, and all had died except for her. Her exposure to the ice had cause her eyes to freeze over, blinding her and giving her the pale irises that she has to this day. She can often be seen standing on a rocky out crop by herself overlooking the site of the tragedy.
She was adopted by the youngest of the three hunters, and currently lives at his house. She was taught water bending by his wife, and compensates for her blindness by raising a very light mist about her that allows her to 'see' her surrounds.

Type of Bender: Water from the South Water Tribe. She is a healer and works better with liquid water bending than water to ice bending.
